Ochsner Health System’s growing 20-physician Orthopedic team includes surgeons with subspecialty expertise in joint replacement, sports medicine, orthopedic oncology, pediatrics, spine, foot & ankle, hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder treatments. Our Department of Orthopedics is ranked in the top 50 orthopedic departments in the country, by U.S. News & World Report’s 2012-13 Best Hospitals rankings. We have an accredited residency program with a total of thirteen residents and a sports medicine fellowship with a total of four fellows. Opportunities exist for clinical research. Ochsner also has a multi-disciplinary, integrated Musculoskeletal Center. A component of this center is an institution-wide state-of-the-art digital PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System).
