| The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a fellowship trained, board certified/eligible trauma surgeon with a Masters of Public Health to join the Orthopaedic Trauma Service. This Instructor level position, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, offers a stimulating environment of both a clinical practice and a full-time academic appointment within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Interested candidates should have a proven record of commitment to patient care, an interest in biostatistics, epidemiology, health policy research, academics, teaching and over-all clinical excellence. A sub-specialty interest and expertise in complex pelvic and acetabular trauma and orthopaedic tumor surgery is necessary. Active involvement in resident and fellowship educational programs will be necessary. The successful applicant will be provided opportunities in both the clinical setting and research arena along with a commitment to his/her career development. |
