Orthopedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine Division - Boston Children’s Hospital
The Orthopedic Center at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking an orthopedic surgeon for its Sports Medicine Division in caring for young athletes with a sports-related injury or illness.
The division is presently staffed by 8 orthopedic surgeons and 12 medical sports medicine physicians, with additional staffing in exercise science, sports psychology, and nutrition. The Sports Medicine Division at Boston Children’s Hospital has provided national and international leadership in the study of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sports injury in young athletes.
Responsibilities include clinical practice, resident and fellow education and clinical and/or basic science research. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Board certification in orthopedic sports medicine is required.
