Academic Orthopaedic Surgeons

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking several academic orthopaedic surgeons to join the Department in the following services: Foot and Ankle, Sports Medicine, Hand and Upper Extremity, Spine, Trauma, and Total Joint Arthroplasty. The Total Joint Service is also seeking a non-operative physician that is fellowship trained in that specialty.

The candidates should be fellowship trained in their specialty.

The candidates will be expected to be active clinically as well as academically, including research, teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievement. In addition to teaching activities, suitable candidates will have an MD and Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
