Academic Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon 

Upstate Medical University Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Syracuse, New York is seeking a BC/BE sports medicine orthopaedic surgeon. Expertise in hip arthroscopy and management of hip disorders is preferred. There is also an opportunity to participate in the Department’s coverage of Syracuse University Athletics. 

All candidates must have completed an orthopedic surgery residency and a one year sports medicine fellowship; be ABOS certified or currently ABOS Board Eligible; have an interest in developing a clinical practice and research program; an interest in resident education.

The outpatient clinical practice is at the Upstate Bone & Joint Center, a facility, which offers patients comprehensive musculoskeletal care at one location including an outpatient surgery center.

Academic rank and salary commensurate with education and experience.
