Northwell Health Orthopedics is recruiting for a one-year, non-ACGME Orthopedic Fellowship, 2021 Match for 2022 position.

The program is located on Long Island, NY, at two of Northwell Health’s flagship tertiary hospitals: Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital, (inclusive of ambulatory surgery facilities and our level one trauma center). Consisting of four, 3-month rotations, the program will provide the fellow with clinical experience and didactic training in the surgical suite, the office practice setting, including robotic-assisted surgery, and hands-on skills training in the Bioskills Education Center.

The primary focus is on Adult Reconstruction; with additional opportunity to work with complex trauma, pelvis, and oncology tumor reconstruction, as well as joint preservation and hip arthroscopy. Leading the way, our fellowship includes extensive research opportunities and mentorship involving faculty members, residency programs, and medical students. Formal didactic conferences are held to complement the clinical experience, while participation in annual conferences and monthly journal club meetings round out the schedule.
