Job Details

The Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in adult reconstruction. This position will initially be split between the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS) and Northwest Hospital (NWH). Northwest Hospital is the location for UW Medicine’s busy and growing total joint replacement program. Appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level (without tenure due to funding).

Requirements

Candidates must be a citizen of the United States, have an MD degree, be board certified or eligible in orthopaedic surgery and be fellowship trained in lower extremity total joint replacement surgery. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching and research. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a robust clinical or basic science research program. Candidates must also be able to obtain a full Washington State Medical License.

All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching research, and service.
