Chief of Orthopedic Surgery

The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, in partnership with the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, is seeking an individual for VA Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery with time dedicated in the VA and part time at the university academic medical center. Applicants must be Board certified Orthopaedic surgeons with fellowship training, or its equivalent, in a sub-specialty. Preferred is a focus on total joint replacement and experience with revision procedures. Candidates must have demonstrated clinical investigational skills and there is the potential for protected research time. The preferred candidate will be a clinical collaborator and innovator who strives to bring the services of orthopedic surgery to as many veterans as possible in a patient centered way. The VA Chief of Orthopedic Surgery must be committed to their clinical responsibilities, research and align with the educational mission of the VA Connecticut.
