The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Spine Fellowship-trained surgeon certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery for the position of Chief of the Adult Spine Service. This Associate/Full Professor level position, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, offers the opportunity for a stimulating academic clinical practice along with the unlimited potential for clinical and translational research. This full-time academic appointment within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery provides an excellent opportunity to lead an established Adult Spine Service at Massachusetts General Hospital. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in all aspects of clinical care for the spine patient, as well as a proven track record of academic success and leadership. Previous experience in departmental, hospital or institutional administrative duties will further enhance the application.
