Director of Orthopedic Trauma

Trinity Health Of New England—the region’s largest nonprofit health system—seeks a highly experienced, fellowship-trained physician to be Director of Orthopedic Trauma.

As Director of Orthopedic Trauma, you will oversee the highly visible Orthopedic Trauma Program at Trinity Health—a five-hospital system in Connecticut and Massachusetts. You will lead, inspire and build a team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and specialists who share the same vision and values of patient care.

As a key member of our orthopedic service-line leadership team, you will exemplify professionalism as you work closely with staff, administration and board members. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the services provided by physicians. You’ll also provide ongoing reviews of established policies and procedures, and you’ll be involved in quality-improvement initiatives with long-range planning.

This is also an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your clinical and academic expertise as you participate in trauma research and the education of resident and medical students.

At Trinity Health Of New England, we’re proud of our history of provider collaboration. Our practice model empowers our physicians to work at their highest level, while allowing time for professional development and family life. We welcome you to explore this opportunity further, and to see how you could thrive in this highly visible leadership position within Trinity Health Of New England.
