The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital seeks a Board certified surgeon fellowship trained in open and arthroscopic techniques of hip preservation, as well as total joint arthroplasty. The MD candidate must demonstrate professional, academic, and teaching leadership skills and emphasis on clinical research. The candidate must be committed to teaching. Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievement.

Candidates will be working closely with the Sports Medicine and Arthroplasty Divisions to provide outstanding care to all patients with hip disease. In addition, the candidates should possess leadership skills for programmatic development as well as a strong foundation for clinical research. Basic science research opportunities also exist for those who have a strong interest.
