Limb Deformity Reconstruction Fellowship
- Foot & Ankle
This is a unique, internationally renowned limb deformity reconstruction fellowship. Fellows gain extensive operative experience in upper and lower limb reconstruction of congenital, developmental, and post-traumatic, bone and joint deformities in both children and adults. Fellows also become proficient in treatment of malunions, nonunions, bone defects, osteomyelitis and advanced joint preservation methods for the hip, knee and ankle. Cutting edge internal and external fixation methods for deformity correction and lengthening are used.
This fellowship is both a stand-alone fellowship in limb deformity surgery, as well as an excellent second fellowship to complement a pediatric, joint replacement, trauma, or foot and ankle fellowship. The applicant must have completed an orthopedic surgery residency in the United States or Canada and be eligible for a State of Florida Medical License.
