The Orlando Health Orthopedic Institute is seeking a BC/BE orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in hand surgery to join a growing orthopedic practice which includes 2 established hand/upper extremity surgeons. Successful candidates should be energetic, ambitious, and autonomous as this new addition to our practice will be primarily based at a satellite clinic within a short 20 minute drive of downtown Orlando.

Orthopedic and plastic surgery trained hand surgeons will both be considered; however, a strong emphasis on pediatric hand surgery and/or brachial plexus injuries would be ideal. Candidates will be expected to take 5-7 days of compensated hand call at our level one trauma center which may include revascularizations and replants.

This is a full-time faculty position with the award winning Orlando Health organization and candidates will be expected to be active with regard to upper extremity research and academics within the orthopedic residency. The position offers a very competitive benefits/compensation package with a workRVU based incentive program which makes a very impressive bonus structure easily attainable. Institutional support with regard to an active research department and excellent relationships with surrounding university systems makes assets for research/teaching opportunities readily available.

Orlando is perfectly positioned in the center of “The Sunshine State” and has world class dining, amusement/theme parks, top-rated golf courses, and beautiful beaches within a very short drive, making it the perfect place to enjoy a distraction when not at work. If interested, please email any questions or your updated CV including 3 references to brett.lewellyn@orlandohealth.com.
