 Pediatric Orthopaedic and Scoliosis Fellowship

 

The University of Michigan, Section of Pediatric Orthopaedics, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting for an ACGME approved Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship for 2019-2020. Six pediatric orthopedists are currently seeing 25,143 patients with 1,319 operations, 150 of which are spinal fusions done by four pediatric orthopaedic surgeons. Training will include and focus on scoliosis and the full gamut of pediatric orthopaedic diseases. Treatment of the spine includes osteotomies, growing rods, including magnetic rods, VEPTR, and the use of navigation assisted surgery. Treatment of the lower extremity deformities includes both ring and unilateral fixation, magnetic IM lengthening and treatment of DDH (both non-surgical and surgical) into adolescence. Focus areas include trauma, congenital scoliosis, and bladder exstrophy. We offer a competitive salary and benefits with opportunities for supplemental compensation. Please come look us over.
