Job Details

The University of Washington Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine seeks candidates for a full-time Musculoskeletal Health Outcomes position at the rank of Research Assistant Professor or Research Associate Professor (without tenure due to funding). 

This is a full-time research appointment in a department with vigorous clinical, research, and training programs. There are extraordinary opportunities for collaboration with the clinical and basic science programs within the Department and the University of Washington. Potential sources of collaboration within the latter include the Institute for Translational Health Sciences, the Department of Global Health and the School of Public Health.

Requirements

Eligible candidates will have a relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D., DrPH, or foreign equivalent) and demonstrated expertise in health outcomes research, health services research, and/or population health research with a particular interest in musculoskeletal health.

Successful candidates are expected to have established excellent research and academic credentials and should be strongly positioned to rapidly compete for extramural grant opportunities.
